I'm not sure Jared - and Jensen - will win Jensen's parents over, but I hope they get to some middle ground. Don't want these boys hurting. They deserve all the love!

Glad you enjoyed it. :) I love it when my characters surprise me. I was thinking "Jensen! Don't hang up the phone. Fucker. She's gotta---" and then he hung up the phone.

But then jared picked it up again, and it worked sooo perfect, and Jared got a chance to put up or shut up and I was thrilled.

Really, it's been Jared's first chance to put up or shut up, you know? That scene really surprised me. I hadn't planned on Jensen hanging up on his mom, and he did and then jared came out of nowhere and fixed it.

I think falling asleep before completion is a girl-thing. I could be wrong though.

Omg, omg omg omg omg, i'm all in a flutter. I saw this (I'M AT WORK DUDE) and i just had to read- READ NOW, NOOW NOOOW!

I am addicted to your scar!verse. I just love this... oh GOD, what will happen at the weekend, when will Jensen and Jared make love, why doe Jensen have that scar? What is in store for our loveable boys? OMG I LOVE THIS STORY.

I really love this story and the way you've slowly developed their relationship. It hurt to see Jensen so upset by his mother but still willing to stand up for Jared and their relationship. And then for Jared to call Jensen's mom and be willing to do what it takes so Jensen can see his family was very bittersweet. I wonder how Jensen will react if he finds out what Jared did. Can't wait to see how the visit goes! Thanks for sharing :-)

When I was writing it, Jensen wasn't supposed to hang up on his mom. At all. And then he did, and I thought I'd written myself into a corner, because I'd end up going over old ground, or OMG everything got derailed.

And then Jared stood up and was a man about it and it all worked out alright and everything's on track.

I love it when a character surprises me as the writer. Seriously.

Oh my. Jared is so sweet and thoughtful. Even though this is obviously hurting Jensen, that phonecall and the desperation to make things better for Jensen must be killing Jared.

This was jared's first chance to put up or shut up, y'know? All the other things, the little outings he'd pushed for, they were against no opposition. This is the first thing he's had to do that was HARD.
