today the lesson plan for my 4th grade class included playing a game called "where is the banana?"
there is nothing wrong with the game...
unless you have a sick mind...

i thought it was hilarious.

close... actually today we played "the sleeping game."
i'm not making this up... i was very surprised. it was a different school, too! i'm a little worried about what i'll be doing monday...

The sleeping game? Is it also called the "Teacher has a hangover so we're all going to be quiet and put out the lights for a while" game?

haha, no... but that's a game i would love to play with my first graders sometimes... not because the homeroom teacher and i are hung over, but because japan likes to play the "let's cram as many students into one classroom as possible" game, and with 30 very excitable 6 year olds playing games, it gets very loud very fast... as much as i love them, i wish they had a mute button sometimes!
