Oh, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy to see House being House this way.

Very in-character, and I enjoyed it. (This is blackmare_9, by the way, logged in as the Black Cig Collective tonight).

I particularly appreciate it that Cuddy isn't willing to talk about a relationship with House at this point. She's too smart and things are far too uncertain to go there.

Equally, I appreciate it that House is pushing her buttons and making her uncomfortable just to see if he still can. Because he really would -- and it really would make Cuddy feel better when she realized she was being messed with. Just like always.

The mutual sort-of apology works really well, too.
