My dad emailed me from Peru that Anita tracked him down to find me. I'm not sure how I want to respond or even if I want to respond. I decided almost a decade ago that my life would be a lot healthier without her in it... and thus far it's been true. Of course, giving it this much thought is probably a bad sign. I should just leave it alone.

Actually, the Peru and Anita are unrelated. She just tracked him to University of South Dakota (he is Professor Emeritus). I like your idea better than actually contacting her.

Wait... wait... Your dad is in Peru. Anita tracked him down there to find you? Couldn't she have just checked, I don't know, directory assistance or something to find you here?

Unfortunately it's not that interesting. Dad happens to be in Peru and checked his email (which he still has through USD.)

I like the mistaken impression better. It makes her seem as crazy as I remember.
