You're wonderfully cute, you know, and at 26 are not old at all. Really. :) As for finding more people to hang out with, you may want to browse around LJ, see if there's any communities on LJ for the Fort Wayne crowd. Or check your local bookstores to see when any gaming or discussion groups meet. And there's the Film board you hang out at, too; any online place can open a treasure trove of people, neh? (Methinks...)
Happy, happy birthday, ladykorana! And, yeah, I have to agree with tenebris. 26 is NOT old. I know it can feel old, especially when you see someone else's timeline and say, "Gee, Mom/Dad/best friend/worst enemy did X by the time they were 25, and now I'm a year past that, so what's wrong with this picture?" I went through a couple of years like that -- it seemed that everywhere I turned, friends were either starting long-term relationships, getting married (gasp!) or (double-gasp!) having first children. The children thing was what really got me, somehow -- weren't we all *way* too young to be doing that

Happy Birthday Jen!!! Don't worry, I'm starting to feel old too...being that I'm gonna be 24 in less than a month. I always thought that I'd be the first one to be married and have kids, and I'm nowhere near that point right now. Heck, I can't even say that my life is going very well, since I still live at home with mom and dad. Well, I hope you enjoy your time in Indy, and once again...HAPPY B-DAY!
I can completely relate to your feelings of being being in a town and barely knowing anyone outside of work...its a frustrating experience at the best of times-
