I did cry as much as I thought I would, but that's no surprise. I'm ok now, except for travel frustrations as illustrated in my new wordy post, but I got the closure I needed, and my dad appreciated having me and my brothers out there, so that's what counts.
I'm sorry I just replied to this now, but it's the first time my computer's been used for more than playing games in an airplane, or checking flight confirmations since I left. (Sorry for my vehemence in the GOF thread too...got a little carried away there, but I blame it on emotional timing of things and hormones.) Things should stabilize at bit more for awile now.

I just wish my face didn't get all red and swollen every time I cry, and that I didn't cry at the drop of a hat, unlike pretty much all of my dry-eyed, more composed cousins.
