Radio crap

m starting to dispise the radio.. in all acutality there is only a handfull of good songs out now a days. yeah i know most people dont lissen to the radio, but i cant live off my small cd collecetion. what i hate the most, and not trying to say its all bad, is rap mucis. yes every once and a while i love one good rap song, but most are my bitches

I completely agree with you on everything there Kyra. 'Pop'-ular music these days is just horrific (and is an indicator of just what our society is becoming... but that is another topic).

I am going to have to disagree about rap though. There are a lot of excellent "rap" or rather, hip-hop / R&B artists out there. You just have to look for them (Jurrasic Five is an example). The music you are describing is thug rap or gangsta' rap. It is more or less akin to saying pop music or pop anything really.

I have long sence stopped listening to the radio (at least, the Cumulous / Clearchannel stations). Essentially the only thing that is played in my car is WUWF88.1. If I am not listening to the radio, I am just listening to burned cds I have created for the day/week. Speaking of which, that brings me to my next topic: Internet Radio.

I love internet radio. I have found so many new artists by listening to netstations that it would make your head spin. Unfortunately, a lot of the artists cannot be found easily or are even located

ie kayne west, usher, some others but ones gereranly with a real good beat and words other than my bitches and hoes. and of corse wutang clan.. anime ^_^
