awww. I know he meant a lot to you. He seemed like a great friend and comfort when I meet him. I'll be very lucky to ever have a dog like that.

I know he was old, did the age just finally catch up to him? He (and his wagging tail of doom ;)) seemed quite healthy when I saw him.

Yep. He was either 12 or 13, and at his size, we didn't expect him to live past 10. It was expected, and he lived the good life to the end... No regrets, I'll just miss him.
