I never feel more like a grown-up than when my son pukes spinach mushroom pizza all over the carpeting in his room and I realize that, no matter how bad my gag reflex, there is no one in the world other than me who is going to clean THAT up.

tell me about it. I don't have kids, but syntart and I foster labs for a local rescue. A couple weeks back we had a dog come in that had hookworms. Turns out the shelter didn/couldnt spend the money on the top level anti-worming meds. I won't give you a description of the days that followed.

Not quite the same, but close enough that I think we're in the same foul ballpark.

Also, spinach/mushroom pizza is win.
