Oh my God. I don't know where to begin with this. This is slow and graceful, it feels like a pendulum, slowly swinging back and forth and then finally stopping, awfully, and it's gorgeous and elegant but it's incredibly painful.

Some favourite lines:
It seems like the entire year has been waiting for winter.

And people, like the seasons, are waiting, too. -- These two lines make the fic, as far as I'm concerned; sparse, and grey, and cold; they put me in mind of a grey sky and a single strong figure. Just brilliant.

Lots of people are dead. Lots of ideas, too, like happiness, and forgiveness. -- Ow. I'm not sure what else to say, because that hurt.

Magic lets us fix what we can... -- such a great line for such a huge concept.

Brilliant all-around.

*blushes like mad* Thank you so much! This comment really makes my day. It took me a long time to figure out the ending, and to figure out Neville's motives. Characterization is so fun to explore, and mess with.

Thanks again!

Oh, I love this. I love Neville. This whole thing just carries itself so smooth and gently. And Ginny/Neville has always intrigued me. I'm glad I came across this :).

Thank you so much! Ginny/Neville is interesting, isn't it? I'm afraid I didn't give it proper credit before writing this, but now I read it whenever I have the chance. Thanks again for the comment- I'm glad you came across this, too. May I ask how?

Let me think... I believe I was at FictionAlly.org in the member directory, checking my profile to see if I did the hyperlinks alright. After that, I just randomly started clicking other members whose names sound interesting. I clicked yours and found your live journal and there you have it!

I guess that's what happens when you have time to spare, lol.

Very cool, very cool. That name was inspired by Lestat, from the vampire chronicles, back when I was into Anne Rice.

Oh do I understand. The interweb is a vortex that drains way too much of my time, which should be spent on work. Ah, well.
