Today was absolutely beautiful. I was walking home from the bus stop with a soft breeze against my arms and I felt the sun shining brightly. I stopped and turned around to face the sunshine, and as I looked up, this gust of wind blew into me, and I felt completely swept away, as the sun blinded me. I think a lot of that quality/quantity stuff happens once you hit high school. Especially for kids in the music department where suddenly there are a thousand amazing people to be friends with right away. Friendships do degrade but they'll (hopefully) still be there, just as a much weaker link. I know that happened to me and Shoke because I haven't had a class with her for two years now.

And for me, the last three months did last forever, but freshman year (and sophomore, so far, for that matter) flew by. Here's to hoping spring break makes summer vacation much closer.
