Ok, next time I freak out about spending money, the way to save it is not to invite a group of people over and ofter to feed them all. I spend way to much grocery shopping, but hopefully everyone has something they'll like to eat. And in truth, I'm happy to do it, and we'll have leftovers for this week.

May I suggest doing a pot luck next time? ;) If everyone brings a dish, everyone will have at least one thing that they like, and it won't be as expensive for you.

Not that my pot luck idea has flown very well with my gaming group, but.

Everyone was late, one 4 hours late, so if we were waiting on him for dinner we'd starve!

That's the beauty of a potluck, though! As people arrive, more dishes arrive. It's not so much waiting for hours and being hungry as there being a constant supply of more food ;)

Oh, I'm sorry I ate first. I didn't realize you were getting so much food until I got there. I figured you were just doing burgers! But yeah, you should have enough for quite awhile. :)

And every time I offer to bring something, you turn me down ! Hence why I didn't ask and just brought cupcakes. ;)
