To make a long story short, Jon just found his mother dead in her apartment. He went up (to San Jose) to see her because her roommate said she was very sick, but all she'd admit to last night when he talked to her was a case of the flu.

It's a sad state of affairs when the only good thing about my day is that it was over quickly. Nothing went wrong, but I feel numb today; I feel that I am asleep. We registered for Sectus last night and sent in our PayPal payments. Their website and shopping cart app is a little confusing (ok, a LOT confusing) but I managed to get it all figured out.
