I just finished Melissa Anelli's "Harry, A History" and kept wondering why I don't remember meeting Melissa, because a lot of the book reminds me of my own time in the Harry Potter Fandom. Well, if it's any consolation, all the GT members ended up way better than, say, Ms Scribe *snickers* I know I'm being a petty bitch here, but seriously, name one BNF that didn't turn into a whiny moron after HBP anyway.

But I've come to believe that unless you were there and you lived it, then you couldn't really understand it, anyway. We know what it was like... I know the legacy of GT. I wouldn't be writing today without it. I wouldn't be writing as well today without it, and I wouldn't have fabulous friends that I STILL owe penance to...
I wasn't in the "inner circle", so I don't remember that side of the blow-up but I do remember the aftermath, and it changed the fandom. So... Yeah. Please not to be summarizing what GT was with THAT fic.
