Cheese radar and some good stuff
Legend of the Seeker seems to have broken my cheese radar.
When I started watching it in November, I was perfectly aware of how cheesy it was - I love rockin' Rahl and (now that I can) Dance were both celebrations of this awesome rocktastic cheese. But then the 4-week holiday wait happened, during which I had too many deep, meta conversations with the clever folks at CSS, and then "Denna" happened, which made even mresundance put his thinky hat on; and now anywhere I look at LotS, I see Deep Stuff. Halp! My previously finely-tuned cheese radar is broken! I only recognize cheese in Bollywood dance numbers now!
And of course I started to vid LotS Deep Stuff and it killed my muse, because when I'm vidding Deep Stuff I get too angsty and insecure. Case in point: my Denna-vid, which lies bleeding in the corner, because I can't get the guts/inspiration/confidence to finish it.
I need to vid LotS cheese again, for my own mental health. I think vidding Kahlan's Amazing Technicolor Slow-Mo Fight Scenes might do the trick.
And now the joyous news that brightened my day (my week! my month! heck, it simply sent me to the moon!): LotS is renewed for season two! Already! The good news courtesy of the magnificent rkc_erika of course :)
Now that I've squeed my lungs out with the other Conseekadores, let me celebrate with some macros:
