Geoff's father passed away on Thursday morning. It was kind of a shocker, as even the doctors thought that they could help him recover. Sadly this was not the case. I've been kind of keeping up on email and LJ and stuff, but not much, really. Just don't really feel like it. I do have some stuff to say, but it's just going to have to wait for now.

I Geoff still down here, or has he returned yet? My thoughts are with you guys, and his family. His dad was a great guy.

Geoff and I both got home on Monday.

I am less concerned about Geoff's mum now - she's got a friend staying with her all week, and his sister will be back up next weekend. We've also checked in with family friends, and there's a rotating schedule for them to check in with her. I think she'll be okay, eventually.

The "memorial service" seemed to help all around. It was really more of a Father's Day party with everyone thinking about Barrie. It provided catharsis, of a sort.
