Yeah, in my experience no matter how shallow they claim the water is, it's best to take the ferry and not try to ford. Calking and floating wasn't that effective either.

I always try to overtip, but I've never been to Salina.

The Patriots are hurting. Their salad days might be done.

I hope you start to feel more at home in the new locale and that the new job goes well.

I know you and I don't really correspond, and that we only know each other through Greg and Rob and everybody, but I live in Chicago and like road trips. So if you're lonely and want to attempt bonding over bad coffee, I'll totally drive to Kansas. I have nothing better to do until I start work in a few weeks.

Anyway. Don't beat yourself up for being anxious and mopey. Such is life. Besides, you complain so eloquently.. if you stopped, I wouldn't have someone's journal that I could read and think "yeah! Lisa gets it and writes all the things that I can't articulate!"
