I won a pair of Skinny Puppy tickets for tomorrow night's gig at the Astoria and we can't go. Its Simon's birthday and we have other plans. Its a pity since they are one of the best live acts ever IMHO, but I did see them on the first leg of the tour from a comfy seat upstairs at the Forum, so I can't really complain ( Read more... )

HOLY CRAP- You actually made a post, I thought you were just a lurker! I would love the free tickets but the round trip airfare would be a bit prohibitive. :(

HA HA!!! I delurked to do my bit for the community. Dude, you would have to leave like right now to make the gig. Did you catch them in Seattle?

Just think, if we do move to Alaska we can rendezvous at least a few times a year:)

Alaska - well, maybe. We are planning to go there next Spring to check it out. I figure either we'll love it, or we'll get off the plane freezing our keisters off and get straight on the next flight for civilization. At the moment we do like the idea of checking out of society and having our own little piece of Americana for dirt cheap. And there's the sled dogs to consider:)

Have fun in Edinburgh. I haven't been there in ages and have always wanted to go during fest time. Looking forward to some theatre reviews.
