Read in today's paper that Ms. Rowling is preggers with her third child. Delighted as I am for her I can't help but wonder if this will interfere with the release of book 6. Here's what my paper has to say (taken from Ms. R's website I believe):

....book six remains well on track and, fingers crossed of course, I don't foresee any baby-related ( Read more... )

fannish

I was just having a conversation about this last night with pandora_nervosa. We both decided that if we'd been JKR we would have waited until the books were completed, then had the babies when we could sit back and relax a bit without the added pressure.

...However, we're not her. ;)

Oh, and I hope you don't mind that I friended you.

Waiting would have been the sensible thing to do wouldn't it? I suppose she wanted to complete her family because she's nearing 40.

I hope you don't mind that I friended you.

Not at all! I've been wanting to friend you because I love reading your responses on Kellie's journal. They are hilarious! :) A warning-I lead a very boring life, so you might find yourself asleep at the keyboard more often than not, lol.

I suppose that she did. And it does make a difference. Considering that she still has another book and a half (or so) to write, it could be another 2-3 years before she's completed them.

But, you now, I'm selfish... lol

Ah, thanks - you should have just friended me and left a note saying you were K's friend. ;)

Pffftt! I seriously doubt that. ;) I've seen people with truly boring lives - I don't think you'll qualify. lol

Hee... so am I! I felt kind of bad being concerned about book 6 when Ms. R is obviously so happy.

I thought about it, but didn't want you to think I was some psycho woman come out of the woodworks to stalk you! LMAO

Aww, thanks for the kind words! :)

I saw this on Mugglenet yesterday. I was telling scatteredlogic last night about how now we'll have to wait forever for book 7 now.

Oh, speaking of scatteredlogic, I was telling her last night how much I love you and she friended you. So you need to friend her back...lol. I told her all about how I corrupted you (and some of the views we share - and she does too - about certain writers and stories. So yea!

Did you get a chance to look at that HP art site I sent? How cool was that?

I'm friending her right back! There are so many people on your flist who are so cool, but I am too intimidated to friend them lol.

Yep, I looked at the art site and some of the drawings are beautiful. Wish I could draw... *sigh* How ironic is it that Edward is teaching a drawing class this summer? ROTF

Has Conn mowed the lawn yet? :D

Conn finally did mow and Alex and I have spent the better part of the day in the backyard, him driving his Power Wheels truck all over the place. It was lovely today, in the upper 70's and low 80's. I'll hate it when it goes back up to 100+. Blech.
