I'm so with you. Add the fact that a candidate can get the most actual votes and still lose the election shows this system is completely useless.

I see what you're saying, because me and my Mom voted democrat, our county went democrat, but they gave Alabama to Romney when only 1% of the damn votes were counted. >_O Pissed me off! I wanted to see Alabama turn blue.

However... in this case, I think all's well that ends well.

Obama still would of won though because he also had the most popular votes.
I seldom seen any political ads while in alaska but have been swamped with them in NY.
It's an outdated system they came up with way back in the day -The reasoning was something along the lines that they didn't really think the everyday joe people were smart enough to vote or something like that. Kinda like how originally the only people who could vote where white property owners...
