What a lovely view of Ronon and his by now strong relationship with his team. I especially like that even after he reassures himself about Teyla and Sheppard, he's not at ease before he has done the same with Rodney, even though Rodney was not in danger this time. And of course food would be "their" way!

Thanks! Something about Ronon in this episode struck me, and I needed to dig a little deeper.

I've always thought Ronon and Rodney probably did most of their bonding through food!

Same here!! Did you notice at the end of Doppelganger how Rodney pulls his tray closer to himself when Ronon sits down near him? There's gotta be a fic in there somewhere - but I haven't found it yet!!

Wonderful! You captured Ronon perfectly. I love his awareness of the expedition's taboos about touching, and how Teyla totally understands his need to touch - as well as how he spars with John as a way of proving that John is alive. I love how Ronon works out what to do at the end and engages in some expert McKay wrangling - with McKay totally oblivious, of course!! I even loved the scene with drunken John and Rodney and the 'so long, Rodney' bit (so sad)!

I think I loved the whole fic, actually!!! *bg* Excellent!

Thanks so much! I really enjoyed writing this fic. Once Ronon's at home in Atlantis, he seems to be the most comfortable touching people--hugging, dragging, sparring, carrying, etc. I figure that's how he'd need reassurance, too. Also, McKay is totally oblivious to a lot of things until they smack him, I think.
