What else has NC done? All I saw was the kerfuffle re: same-sex marriage.

That same kerfluffle... but that amendment doesn't just cover same sex marriage.. it also states that children of unwed parents can not be covered by their fathers medical insurance b/c the state doesn't recognize them as a family. It states that if a man and woman live together and he beats her, she can not charge him with domestic abuse b/c the state doesn't recognize them as a couple because they aren't married. It also denies widows and widowers the rights to their dead spouses pensions.
