Awww, bless ya ;)

Concerts are boring anyway! I've only ever been to one, and that was a Spice Girl's concert 10 years ago :-/
:p hehe

Well that's a bit of a sweeping statement!

You've only ever been to one concert AND it was Spice Girls... I wouldn't tar all concerts with the same brush ;o)

Aimi may have a point. Live music tends to be overrated. :-/

Well I think it's all all matter of opinion and possibly who you've seen, some performers just can't "do" the whole live thing well ( ... )

Oh no :o( Nightmare!!
I had a look at their website though and they've said it's not permanently cancelled, but that they're looking for a larger venue for the rescheduled concert because they had a such a huge response. So might not be in December but it will happen!

Ooh cool! I wish I had a computer that could handle Sims2 :o( though I am enjoying starting afresh with Sims :o)

I've never actually seen Duran Duran play live (they never came to Worcester when they were together). I've seen them all in concert but whilst they were in Powerstation and Arcadia which at the time was the only way I was ever going to see any of the band live since they had broken up by that time ( ... )

The Spice Girls are always going to be a disappointing live experience because they are all singers, rather than musicians ;)
I have seen a big variety of live music ranging from big stadium shows to one man acoustic gigs in venues barely bigger than my living room. And one thing that's true is you can't generalise about them - some bands may not have a flashy stage show but have a great rapport with the audience, like Neil Finn and Huey Lewis, others are more about the visuals like Jean Michel Jarre. There is something enjoyable about seeing a talented performer produce the music right there at that instant, no backing tapes or studio trickery, and once the notes end they are gone forever. Plus, as Jo says, its a collective experience and a good audience and band will channel their energy together.
