It's Number Zero for two related reasons:

* We're not a kingdom yet

* We didn't our newsletter was officially 'kingdom' until November because we wouldn't be a kingdom 'til after the midpoint of October. So Issue 1 has a cover and other plans laid for it, which will go ahead as planned.

What *does* a new kingdom smell like, anyhow?

It's like new car, only the heralds smell kinda must-book like. But not as musty as OLD kingdom heralds smell.

ANd the seneschals... they smell like new sharpened pencils. And the armor for the knight marshals doesn't smell like stale sweat yet.

Tee hee... I'm gonna be going up to all the seneschals at Coronation and sniffing them, and then scribbling notes in a little pad before scurrying away :)
