Facebook froze my account until I give them my real name. I don't really want to do that. I always knew it was a matter of time. I haven't decided what to do yet but this might be the push I needed to get that monkey off my back. For now I'm taking a FB break since I needed it anyway. Yeah, they've been doing it all along. I know a few others it's happened to in the last year. Don't know what triggered mine but it was only a matter of time.

buncha dicks. I am so over fb (yet there I am). it just sucks cause self promotion is so much tougher to do without it.

I can see why that's as a big road block for artists, small biz, musicians and promoters.

I wondered how long the whole "we must have all your info" from facebook would draw a backlash.

Glad I never used it.

Hey there! How are you feeling? I just saw your whirlwind hospital post.

Yeah I was never happy with it. It always felt like the user was getting jerked around. Honestly, they have done me a favor.

as far as facebook goes? I refused to be their product and not get a piece of the pie. As soon as they are willing to pay me to give up all my privacy, I might rethink it. Until then, no thanks - I'll stick to email, irc & skype (for those in far away time zones).
