A few weeks ago, we had a long weekend in Cambridge for our wedding anniversary, going there by way of Hatfield House and returning via Audley End. Typically, most of my pictures ended up being comical lions.
(
Comical lions, grumpy angels, a heron, a Wheel of Doom, and some towers )

I would love one of those Mystery City Guides, but I can't see my husband taking to the idea, so unless/until I'm visiting somewhere with someone who's more into games and puzzles, I'll just have to file the idea away for now.

What a fun travelogue! I do enjoy a comical lion. And you're right - St. Augustine's church looks most dismayed.

I never knew you could get grumpy cherubs, lol!
I'm glad you had a good time, and those Mystery City Guides sound interesting, when I can manage to walk that far without upsetting the plantar fasciitis in my right heel area (or sounding like a puffing steam train - oh to get fit again)!
