Turkey, pie, and black fridays.

Well, I survived Thanksgiving with the family and in-laws-to-be. I've now made a total of six pies in four days for both that gathering and work. Black weekend has come and gone, and I made it throuh with a cold and no voice! I feel accomplished to have at least one retail black weekend under my belt

Yay life if I were making more money. But we are surviving so I can't complain. The budget is just tight so no presents this year. I'm thinking of not turning on the heater at all and no christmas lights outside. We need outside rated lights and all we have are strings for inside. We might get a tree though if my extra hours pull through! I am becoming more resourcefull with my cooking. I've made my own chicken and turkey stock so we can make soup all winter.
