I made carnitas last night which ended up being tonight's dinner. I think next time I'll use an actual recipe and not my faded memory of making it while in Spanish class in high school. Because all I remembered is that it involves a large pot, pork, lots of water to boil it in, and an obscene amount of salt, and it was very tasty

Yes. A full cup of salt is in fact too much. For anything. Ever.

When spanish food is too salty add insane ammounts of sour cream to balance!
