18 month check up this morning, hearing - check, eyes straight - check (unless very tired, then they go wonky), talking - check check, climbing stairs - up and down and up and down and again check, how much milk, 3-4 bottles

Quite the kid you've got there :) She's a doll for sure.

Sorry you still get crap about Charlie. I can understand why people look, we're naturlaly curious but come ON...shes a little girl who's obviously had some heart surgery and you as her parents haven't probably been through enough about it...ya staring and gawking's gonna help. Idiots. I'd probably put up with it for a bit then say, "yes she had open heart surgery...but its good to know that besides that trauma, now every stranger out there stares at her. cuz THATS not going to affect her as she grows up. THANKS!!" Make them feel like shit. jerks.

And her brother crush is so cute :) too sweet!!

Oh but I did want to ask why the doctors got a problem with her having bottles? It would be perfectly fine for her to be breastfeeding at 18 months, so why shouldn't she have bottles??

The bottle business, I guess I missed the memo that came with the bottle to say btw, might cause hair to grow on toes if still used after certain age. ;)

I don't know what her problem is, I guess it's bad for her teeth, interferes with her eating, etc... She never uses it to sleep though, so it's not a problem for that. I spoke to her daycare and she's agreed to stop bottle feeding her, but I'll keep the last one of the day, I like the snuggling quiet time with baby girl! I don't think Mike and I were quite ready to have our baby 'grow up' yet.

Come on...the hair on her toes comes from her dad's side of the family not the bottles
