OMG, me too! I feel so bad saying so, because it's such a classic part of Japanese cuisine. It's what everyone's dad eats for breakfast on rice, or for lunch as makizushi. "Natto" literally just means "stored beans." But I agree with you. It's not the flavor, but that pervasive, sticky, stringy sliminess! I couldn't stand it!
