I keep entering photos into Drs. Foster and Smith's anniversary contest in hopes that I will win a big gift certificate to their online store. Then I can buy all kinds of awesome stuff for my cats, like "Salmon Fishies", "Da Bird" toy with "da bee" add on, and some cozy cushions. The newest catalog has a blanket you can customize with a photo of ( Read more... )

This is a moment where you need to discover your inner "bitchy girlfriend."

Sadly Peter gets crazy women after him too (i guess thats the power of running an animecon??). Though one of them is trying to go through him to get to Micheal Sinterniklass(?), guy who does a voice from Venture bros. She thinks she's the guy's "girlfriend." (She moved from Texas to Brooklyn to be close to the guy) Anyways she talks to Peter a lot hoping to get to the guy. Even going as far as sending myspace messages to Peter to asking him if wants to hang out he should give her a call.

The only advice I really have is be mean because you can't be the nice person with those type of people (they will continue the behavior). Or making really bad excuses and ignore.

I say invite her over, and cook her a huge meal.
Then you and David can kill her.
maybe eat her.

That kind of crazy does not deserve to enter their house, much less be murdered in it.

I think you have the right to be totally blunt and/or just totally block her-no discussion.

I totally agree with you, there's no way she's gonna ever be able to take a hint. Being polite with people like this is like asking to marry them. O_o

You are right about that. Sadly, I have been in this situation before with...interesting varieties of the male species.

First of all, David needs to be the one to message her. Not you. This is between David and her, and it sucks that you got stuck in the middle of it.

Second, here's some advice straight from my "we LARP every weekend" friends. (Yes, I have those. No, I haven't LARPed yet.) According to my LARP-y friends, many people who LARP live in a fantasy world outside of the game. This woman may not accept anything you say as true if it disagrees with her perception of how the world revolving around David is works.

That's it really.

You are right, really. David's pretty much all set just pretending she doesn't exist. I guess I'll just leave it at that. She does seem to match what you say about living in a fantasy world outside of the game. Apparently, when she would hang out with David & his friends, all she would talk about was Mystical Journeys, and even refer to real money as whatever the currency is in that RPG ( ... )

WHAT??? Papillion is out in English?! I didn't know! Sweet, I have to buy it ASAP. That's Miwa's most recent series.

I haven't really started any new series besides those last ones I mentioned, Honey & Clover and Sand Chronicles. Although I'd rather not, I've been trying to ignore manga because I need to save money...=(
