The weather the past few days has been a nightmare. A snowy, wet, freezing nightmare out from which I constantly had to unbury my car. I had all these social activities planned for the weekend, but just about all of them were canceled due to inclement weather. Friday was the first day of the storm, and I had thought I would be able to go home

I like that she's so totally smart and doctor-educated enough to know that "there's absolutely no medical reason why my cat is suddenly biting" and yet isn't smart enough to sequester the cat somewhere in her house/apartment so her grandkids won't be in danger. (I have a one bedroom apartment and I can think of at least three places we could put the cat that are big enough for her to be comfortable/keep her away from us.) Also, if your cat's suddenly snapping, can't you just call up your kid or kid-in-law and say "Hey, I'd love to have the little brats come over, but my cat started biting today and I wouldn't want to put them in danger. You'll have to come over some other time, after I've taken the cat to a vet to see what the matter is." No one would be put off by that

I don't get a christmas bonus at work, but I do have PTO and we had to cash out so I got a week's worth of pay for doing nothing. Which probably ends up being more than a bonus would be anyways. SCORE!
Yeah, the weather was pretty sucktacular. We still need to hang out at some point. I don't knwow hat your schedule is like on the weekend but I'm working on Saturday and have sunday off so Sat nite works for me. Let me know. Hopefully the weather will cooperate :)
