okay, first, i loved both of them. and second, how freaking cool is that site? pretty awesome. do you have the completed poems, or are they still works in progress?

They are poems that I could never edit into anything better, because changing them always loses something, and I think it is the "something" that those drafts have captured. I am so happy to have them published exactly as they are. That incompleteness is their completion, I think.

ok, that is wicked cool. and i love the idea of seeing them in rough draft. it lends something to the poem, makes them feel a little more connected to the author.

That paper plate is the one I ate off from the night of the party, which is why i wrote a poem on it. That was all I could find to write on!
