Merry Christmas!!! (I don't celebrate but I have no issue using the non-secular greeting) I hope the New Year is better for you, not only health wise but general life wise! I'll keep you in my prayers and hope you can totally pig-out on your favourite solids before long!
I have to be thankful I'm not in the UK. They go all out over there regarding Christmas dinner and stuff, don't they? Or are books lying to me again XD
I actually get to go into my "baby/mushy food" phase on the 4th! My mom is going to make her amazing home-made mash potatoes, I'm going to be eating pork & beans (let me know if you don't know what that is XD), yogurt, cheese, cooked vegetables, applesauce, and plain ole' baby food; it's weird, but I love baby food - peaches, apricots, pears...the sweet stuff. I might also be able to eat chicken noodle soup (but without the chicken).
10 more days! I can finally step into a store and not regret getting this surgery done XD
Oh! I am glad! I grandfather makes the best massed potato. Very smooth but probably not the kind you are used to as grandad's mash is designed to go with rice. So he uses mustard oil, onion and chilli. It's very delicious!
Anyway, enjoy your meals and hope you can soon step into a store and not regret getting the surgery!
Sounds delicious! But again, ANYTHING sounds Delicious! XD But even if I wasn't feeling like I was starving, I would've loved to try some!
I was actually able to eat some beef soup with tender vegetables last night without the feeling of needing to vomit it up (to which I would stick a finger down my throat and get whatever I could up) I'm hoping this means my stomach isn't as swollen anymore and will allow me to eat some mushy foods.
I can't wait until I'm 9 weeks out. I can start eating meat and things. I've been dying for some Japanese MILD chicken curry and rice.
It's going to be difficult to re-train my eating habits. I can't drink ANYTHING 30 prior to eating; I can only eat a shot glass of food at once and chew 20 times, while my utensils are on the table, and wait 2 minutes before repeating the process. Then, I can't drink anything for 60 minutes after I finish my meal.
