It really really is. I don't know about you but I don't think people should have the right to own a gun really because haveing the right to carry one essentially means you have the right to kill someone. And you don't.

:S. Oddly enough in Oman anyone can go and buy a gun but as far as I know there are very few shootings. I think it's cos if you get caught you get the death sentence (another thing I disagree with :S).

well. technically he stole the gun from someone. i don't remember who. but it wasn't his.
doesn't make it right. just another formality i suppose.

the death sentence was outlawed in all states in the US finally. a couple of states didn't want to do it. but you're right... i'm against the death penalty. we can't play God. we don't have the right to choose who lives and dies.
it doesn't make us any better than murderers.

Really? That's great. I agree. Also I think sticking someone in solitary for the rest of their life is a much worse fate than just killing them. Cos the people they used to sentence to death were supposed to be being punished but really they didn't suffer at all.
I'm kinda harsh :P

maybe harsh, but true.
i mean, think of all the people who were sentanced to death for a crime they didn't commit as well. it's just horrible.
