"I believe they would spend much of their time below decks" What a crack up! Not an underground band, but a below decks one. I am re-reading Surprise for like the 4th time. I still think POB was one of the best 20th century authors. What do you read now?

I am currently reading The Kite Runner. It was highly recommended. I was in love with this novel after the first few sentences. It is beautifully written.
