In memory of Richard Grinsbach.

Last Friday I lost a dear friend, Richard. He was the bartender at the yacht club, a talented musician, an old school surfer and surfboard shaper. He died Friday, January 20th at his home in Moss Landing. He was 57 years old. The preliminary report I heard was that he had suffered a fatal heart attack. I'm so sorry about your loss. And I hope you don't blame yourself--there is only so much you can do for a friend with these problems. I'm sure he knew how much you cared.

So sorry, Dear Lady. I heartily second what Coneycat said about there being limits to what friends can do for one another. Be good to yourself, treat yourself with loving kindness, as you work through your grief.
