So I had the finalization interview with the new job today, and holy crap, they pay more than I was expecting. I knew this was going to happen... I would be worried they wouldn't pay enough, and it would end up not even being an issue. Thanks :) That's some helpful stuff. He never mentioned weekends at all... I'm not even sure if they're open then. Nothing about being on call was mentioned either, and I don't have hospital priveleges yet (and won't get them for a few more months). Right now I'm going to be starting out 3 weekdays a week, 8 hours a day. No chance for overtime. I don't know how things will be when I'm moved to full time, but I guess he and I have to sit down again and discuss those details. Right now he just wants to see how I like the practice and how they all like me, and see if we both decide I should be there full time.

Well I'm staying for now, but I wasn't going to leave soon anyway. I have no idea when my parents will sell their house... with the market being how it is these days, it could be a year or more. I'll just save up as much money as I can, and take things one day at a time. But yeah, this salary is probably enough for me to be able to afford LI for now :P
