I apologize for the lack of updates people. Last week was crazy for me; mid-terms. My worst nightmares! I didn't have time to think about this story, let along write it. This week will be the same thing, so I won't be updating. But next Sunday everything will be normal again I hope!

Andrew waits until he hears the front door closing to turn to his son with a grimace of displeasure. Arthur still doesn’t look at him.
“You know, those rules were made to be obeyed, Arthur.” Andrew says, inflecting annoyance in his voice.
“We weren’t doing anything, father.” Arthur responds in the same tone, sitting up and staring at Andrew.
“Yet.” Andrew says, emphasizing the word. “You weren’t doing anything, YET. I don’t want to think what would happen if I hadn’t walk in.”
“Nothing.” Arthur replies through clenched teeth. “Nothing would have happened, because Merlin isn’t ready. Not because of these ridiculous rules.”
“Right.” He snorts sarcastic. “I’ve been your age, Arthur. I know what it’s like.”
“Do you have so little faith in me?” Arthur asks, hurt. “Do you really think I’d do something against her will?”
“No. I know you wouldn’t.” Andrew says with a tired sigh. “But I also know Merlin likes you very much and it won’t take long for the idea start to seem appealing and…” He pauses, hesitant.
“And what?” Arthur prompts with a frown of confusion.
“Susan isn’t comfortable with the idea.” Arthur stands up, moving to the window.
“She doesn’t trust me, does she?”
“Merlin is her only daughter, Arthur.” Andrew says in a pleading tone. “She has all right to be irrational about these things.”
“Yeah, I know.” Arthur sighs, turning to look at his father.
“Don’t worry, she’ll come around.” He reassures his son, with a smile. “Meanwhile, keep it under PG-13, please.”
Arthur chuckles and nods.
“I’ll try.”
