I hate to agree, not the most satisfying ending... :D So I vote for a smutty epilogue. ^.~

No, it was good. Aside from the blatant Doctor-as-deus-ex-machina, but frankly, with the liberties DW writers take on that, I figure any fic writer's allowed one here and there. :D BRILLIANT fun, this fic! YAY!

LOL that was fast! I posted like five minutes ago!!
Anyway, Thank you! I'm glad you liked my Doctor and you're right, this ending was definitely not what I had in mind when I started to write this. I wanted to have Jack and Ianto saving the day, but by the time I got to chapter 28 I thought: what the hell? I used like 90% of the DW characters and I didn't use the Doctor? That's just absurd!
But I'm glad you enjoyed the fic in general! It was great fun to write it!
And about a smutty epilogue... well, sorry but I totally suck in that department, so I'm kinda gonna leave you hanging this time!

It was exactly 5 minutes, actually. Between you and me I was constantly refreshing my LJ inbox to look for comments on the fic -I- just posted, because I'm addicted to feedback. Your fic was perfectly timed for me to catch the tracking/alert. :D

That's was really awsome!!! Love this part "Toshiko and Owen were in the center, right bellow the phrase: those who have fallen." I also felt tears burning on my eyes. I really enjoyed it. :D

I'm so glad you finished it. And the ending worked for me. But if the muse hits you, you could always write an alternate ending at some point.

So Ianto goes stealth for 9 months? not letting anyone know (well, aside from the Queen, of course) he was alive? go Ianto Jones!
& poor Jack - what he just went through's rough to say the least.
BUT:
Jack & Ianto together again & can stay that way for quite some time to come to. yeah! :)
I really liked this fic :D

Now, when do we start the search for Sam's partner, eh? :-}
...and why the Doctor showed up when/where he did?!?

I'm sorry you feel you have to leave this fandom. I really enjoyed this fic, and hope at some point you will explore Ianto's new abilities and his relationship with Jack and a new team. I think you have plenty of room to grow in this 'verse you've made, and I think you should feed your plot bunnies Hostess Chocolate Cupcakes. That helps me.
