Urgh, Jiffy Lube. I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them. I'm guessing they didn't tighten the drain plug all the way. Why it would be leaking around the oil pan gasket is very odd, especially if all they did was an oil change.

I would get Jiffy Lube to pay for the cost of repairs, since they touched it last, if it needs repair that is.

Sorry to hear about the rest though, hope you get better soon!

The guys at this place have been really good to me, so I can't complain. The drain plug and the seal were clean, even the independent mechanic told me that and according to the Jiffy Lube guy they don't touch anything other than the drain plug and the seal.

Thanks! I have found a great mechanic. BBB gave them an A+ since they opened in 1984 and they were well reviewed online. The guy seemed very down to earth, didn't charge me for what they did today and the cost of the powerwashing will be applied as a discount to the whole bill at the end.

*hugs* Thank you for the well wishes. I am still sore but the ibuprofen does help quite a lot. It was a scary experience!! But I am very glad there's nothing wrong with my heart!
