Jason and I talked, and if a crew of volunteers would like to come to our house and do food stuff, we are offering it. We have the big kitchen and everything, and lots of experience putting together foods for hordes. And my kitchen will already be in production mode for the cuppycakes.

Can I make a suggestion? Instead of potato salad, or as well as potato salad, a tray of mini bagels and crossants with meats and cheeses and lettuce for do it yourself sammies? We've done this in the past for big events, and it's cheap and easy (like me!!) and can fill the gap for people who don't have time for lunch or eat on a later schedule.

I had thought about that but I had figured it would be too expensive
Maybe bagels and various cream cheese. We can shop! We should get together to talk wedding anyway!

PS: Now that I am not on my phone where I am still trying to figure out how to type... you guys are really awesome for opening up your house to us! I figured we'd just use our kitchen table and hope for the best! :D We are lucky to have you in our lives! <333

We DO need to get together and talk wedding. Let me know when you might be free next week!

AND - you're welcome! You guys are awesome and it makes me so happy to see two people I really love making a life together. And weddings are super-stressful and I want to do what I can to take some of that stress off your backs, if I can.

I am open for the most part. I have to take Lauran to a doctors appointment at 12 on friday but after that is fine, otherwise evenings are good. I do have tentative plans that I don't mind cancelling on saturday night if that's the only time to hang out.
