I think my school had the first sex ed (the joys of puberty, boys in seperate room from girls) in 4th grade. And anatomically correct dolls during the "if someone touches HERE or makes you feel uncomfortable" talk stuff. And then my mom worked at a strip club (as a waitress by the time I was self-aware). And my mom would only go "cover your eyes" on sex scenes in movies for as long as I can remember.

I just can't comprehend how someone CAN'T find out about sex to some degree before highschool. But then, I grew up in a family that worried more about ACTUAL kid safety, not sheltering us from boogeymen and real life.
