Today I put my best friend down. He went quietly and painlessly and with dignity. I will miss him dearly. He was the best cat. I am trying to remember all of the good things and good times we had. This morning he ate a little bit of bacon and we took him out on the grass to have a last foray.

I'm very sorry you had to make that decision. I know it's a heartbreaking one to make, but I think you did the right thing, and I'm glad he had one last nice day in the sun.

Honeyboy was such a sweetheart. I'm gonna miss having him sit next to me or in my lap when I come over... ; _ ;

Sorry you had to go through that, but at least you spoiled that fella rotten and gave him a very loving home. I doubt he would've traded that for anything in the world. ^^;

I'm so sorry, lady. Poor sweet Honey boy. I know it was painful and your heart is still broken, but you did the right thing for him.

I faced a similar situation with my sweet Femali girl in 2008. Even when you know it's time, it never makes things easier.
