Countdown to Glory: Three Days

Apr 15, 2006 12:42

I hate calling tech support. Today is the first time I've ever had to do it, and it makes me feel like a dumbass. I'll be terrified to go on customers_suck for the next three days, for fear I'll see myself. *physical pain* It turns out that the problem was that Mom gave me the wrong password, in the first place. I did not tell the tech support guy this, for fear of making my entire family look even stupider. I suspect he was already suspicious of the fact I had absolutely no idea of the social security number connected to our account (Up until now, I was only vaguely aware you needed one of those to get the internet.) and that I am neither the posessor of said social security number, nor the person who set up the account. (Two things that are seperate because it's Dad's account, but Mom is more competant with such things. I think she set it up. *braindeath*) I did apologize and thank him several times, and hopefully sounded sufficiently humble. Egh.

So. Back pain. How've you been? I know we haven't seen eachother in a while, but that's no reason to attack me. Seriously. It's not. (I went to bed far earlier then usual, last night, because I could no longer stand up. And spent an hour or so before going to sleep laying on a heating pad, praying for death.)

We have a nifty new wireless keyboard and mouse. Because I spilled the iced tea Mom carelessly left next to the computer on the old keyboard. So now we can throw the mouse at eachother, when we get angry. Yay! I think I did us a favor.

Got pictures! Yay! Put up flower baskets! Yay!

The next week of my life will probably be a period of melancholy, broken only ocassionally by fits of orgasmic glee. If anyone would be good enough to skip out on school to visit me, I'll be your slave forever.
