After my great-grandfather died, we have anecdotal evidence that his spirit hung around to take care of my great-grandmother like that.

Drake,

Knowing how much Lynn loved you, I have to say it HAD to be her. Through her illness she always worried more about you than herself. You didn't get to hear her talk about you when you weren't there. The love poured out of her every pore. She cherished you beyond measure. A love like that does not end just because the physical body encompassing it does. I believe your Mom is right. She was checking on you and will continue to do so.

I will try to make it to the funeral at least... I'll see if Vic can make it as well.

I wish I had more of a chance to know the many layers of what and who she was... But all the memories I have of her are dear and I care very much for her even if time, finance, and location didn't make it possible to visit as I wanted. Thank you for posting this information. I will pass the word along to whoever I can.

Also...

I wouldn't be surprised if she is checking on you or hanging around to watch over you. She's always been the type of person to make sure her loved ones are okay and do her best to help them. You are her Crusader and she was/is your angel. Death can't change that.

Leaving the confines of her diseased body has set her free to watch over you. There's no doubt in my mind that she came to let you know all is well now and she remains with you.

As you celebrate her life on Saturday, many of us from far away who cannot be with you physically will be with you, and her, in spirit. I will spend the hour of her funeral mass thinking about you both and offering my daily Rosary for her intentions.
Much love from distant friends will be with you and Ro at that time.

Hugs!
Bella
