If anyone out there has a Dyson Vacuum, would you be willing to tell me how you like yours?

Thank you!

I love ours as much as I can love a vacuum. I love it more when somebody besides me uses it.

I know some refute the idea that it is better, or worth x$ more, but it is definitely better than any of our previous uprights.

I've actually been considering getting a second because this rental house has carpet upstairs and down. In our own house only upstairs had carpet (and I had been planning to replace it with bamboo).

Awesome! Thanks. We have a problem with vacuums, because the oldest was not paying attention. She is no longer on vacuum duty. heh

Best money we ever spent, without a doubt.

And we even have wood floors now. And I still use it faithfully and love it.

Awesome. We have the fake hardwood now, but it would be nice to be able to vacuum it easily. =)

Oh yeah. Our "wood" floors are wood laminate. But the Dyson still works fabulous for picking up pet hair, baby crumbs and dust.

I will have to do that!

Thank you so much!

I was worried because I read reviews that basically said they were pretty sure the vacuum was EATING their carpet, a layer of carpet fibers at a time.

I LOVE my Dyson. Every time I vacuum I get a couple of kittens out of the carpet. Seriously. I have no idea where it comes up with all the hair it gets out of the carpet, but it does. And it fluffs the carpet up so nicely, which is tricky since we have shag! It's easy to clean out, too.

I have Monday and Tuesday off. Wanna get together?

I could use a few more Tova puppies! heh. He sheds SOOOO much more than the other dogs! It probably comes from him being so much bigger.

I have my post-op appt. tomorrow, but I should be done with it by 11 am or so. And nothing much on Tuesday except taking the child to dance class at 3:30. So either works for me!

How's about we stop by around noon on Tuesday and leave about 3? Lenore is starting another allergic reaction today and I caught it early and dosed her, but in about two hours she's gonna be crabby and miserable. This gives her a day to recover.

Sounds terrific. =) The first two girls get home around 2:30, so they will get to see you too! =)

I have the Dyson pet. Bets money we ever spent. Cleans like no other vacuum I've ever owned. It has helped me tremendously with my allergies, both dust and dog hair. It's been amazing. Like the above poster said, it pulls dirt and hair from who knows where! If you turn it in and leave it sitting in one spot for a few minutes you'd be amazed at what it cleans from that one spot.

I am lusting over the Dyson pet Ball thingy. It looks awesome. And my allergies are kicking my ass already. I like that they are certified Asthma friendly.

Thanks so much!

*hugs*

We love ours, too- and with 6 cats (3 semi-longhair) and one very shedding dog, we NEED a good vacuum. It's held up better than any other vacuum we've ever had, too. Plus it has all these options that fit together in a James Bond-y kind of way, which is a bit confusing but cool. :)

And it's purple.
