I LOVE MY KEEPER.

thanks to lyrae's advice on glitter, i trimmed the stem ALL off (i had about a centimeter left) and it is SO comfortable!

i'm damn glad i decided to jump on that thread. i'm so happy my 30 bucks wasnt for nothing!

i don't think you can with the keeper or divacup, because it sits at the entrance to the vagina, but i KNOW you can have sex with a sea sponge in.

it's comfortable, too.

i'm always so happy when people discover alternative menstrual products, but none of my RL friends have even given it a try. i have this dream that one day it will be more common to use reusable products (the keeper, cloth pads etc.) instead of the bleached, plastic-y kind. but i'm just a hippie like that. :)

yeah ive used alternatives for a while now (sea sponges, cloth pads) but i really, really like the keeper. i was having a lot of problems with feeling it too much, it was uncomfortable, and lyrae on glitter said she trimmed her divacup stem ALL the way off. so i did, and i am SO glad.

i too, preach the reuseable products. the one i think would be most likely to use them only bleeds for two days a month, so she doesnt care. (grrr on her, though.) i have gotten the sea sponges for a few people though, and they LOVE them.
