Too Much Hypocrisy

It's been two weeks since a gay soldier was booed for asking a question at a Republican presidential debate.
In that time, there have only been a few candidates who have commented. None have apologized to the soldier. This despite their often-repeated "Support Our Troops No Matter What" cheerleading.

While I think the candidates should all have had the balls to say something there and then, I don't think any of them should have to apologize to the soldier. They weren't the one(s) booing. I think I heard one loud and a followup "sheepish" boo, probably right before both of them got Gibbs-slapped by the people they came with.

Both people should have been ejected from the event, but I doubt that happened as there's been no report on that.

Had I been one of the candidates, I would have asked that those people be ejected, and I'd have politely waited while they were publicly humiliated on camera before answering the question.

But at least you would have said something. Not just waited for the booing to stop, then continued on as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
