I LOVE that store! It is so very pricey, but I think you will be so much happier there. It just seems like the difference between a Walmart mega store and an intimate experience, I think that you will get so much more out of the intimate experience and it seems you already have! I would always eye the fabrics in the wooden case by the front door and dream of all the lovely dresses that I would make with them. And the faux fur that I got there feels so silky. Really, if you're gonna work in a fabric store, that is the creme de la creme. You go girl!

Oh! I loved - loved - loved Nancy's sewing basket when I went there! It sounds like that's a much better workplace for you than Hancock fabrics. And see, you got to make something for that woman to wear to the Oscars!

I love Nancy's! I don't get to go very often because I can't afford most everything there! So what's the employee discount? Good?

As a Queen Anne native, the fact that you work at Nancy's warms my heart. I used to get all my embroidery floss for friendship bracelets there. It's like the only business on QA Ave, besides A&J Meats, that's been there for as long as I can remember, which is at least 25 years.
